HOPWA Program Eligibility & Cost

Program Eligibility:

To be eligible for services from the HOPWA Program, the client (or at least one member of the household) must be HIV+ (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) or have AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) and have an annual household income less than the amount outlined below for each household size.

The program services clients in many cities and towns in the greater North Shore area. These include, but are not limited to, Lynn, Salem, Beverly, Gloucester and Newburyport. The area that is served is very large and encompasses much of the North Shore.

Program Costs or Fees:

There is no cost. The Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development funds the program with a Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS (HOPWA) Grant
