North Shore Community
Action Programs, Inc.
is
the designated anti-poverty agency for the communities of
Salem, Peabody, Beverly and Danvers. In addition, we serve
25 cities and towns on the North Shore. Established in 1965
under the Economic Opportunity Act, NSCAP’s mission
is to help low-income people empower themselves as they move
towards self-sufficiency and to motivate the larger community
to be more responsive to the needs of low-income people.

On November 20, 2008 the North Shore Housing Action Group released its Plan to End Homelessness on the North Shore. This plan outlines steps we are taking on the North Shore to eliminate homelessness in our community. You may download the Plan here.
